A Bastille Day Celebration & Concert starring Theodora Cottarel
Back by popular demand the Bastille Day Celebration & Concert will feature a plentiful French cheese table and hearty passed French themed hors d’oeuvres and a French wine selection followed by a 60-minute concert with concert seating. The Concert will feature French favorites from all genres: pop, musical theater and opera.
Théodora Cottarel is an award winning French American singer. She is known for her “electrifying” performances (Schmopera) and her “acting and storytelling talent” (Première Loges). Théodora excels in performing repertoire ranging from French cabaret and cross over to classic lyric roles of the opera stage and operetta, always creating exciting and engaging performances for her audiences.
This past season she also won second prize in the Seattle Opera Guild’s competition, granting her the Artistic Development Award. In the 2024/25 season Theodora is set to make the role debut of Elena in Gluck’s Paride ed Elena with PSCO, sing Elle in La voix humaine in New York, and perform in the concert: “Rising Stars of Puget Sound” for the Seattle Opera Guild at Seattle Opera’s Tagney Jones Hall.
